  • Raun Raun Design is the first and original design which our ancestors started weaving. It goes round and round eventually building up the size of the Bilum.

Artisan weaver Susan Delphin, 45, has been weaving for 30 years. She lives with her husband and four children and is a senior leader in her community. Susan uses the income she earns from bilum to support her family, providing schooling for her children. Weaving is her joy - an intricate snake pattern is her signature, woven in the brightest hues.
