  • The natural fibres are sourced from surrounding vegetation including the Sisal and Pandanus plant, laboriously beaten, twisted into string and then woven. Weavers expertly utilise natural dyes made from plants, ochres and berries to enhance their patterns

This bag was handcrafted by Patricia, an artisan based along Papua New Guinea’s Sepik River. The Sepik collective is guided by longtime collaborator and cultural advisor, Lina Singu, who travels along the river in a motored canoe to meet with weaving communities, connecting our social enterprise to women living in some of the most remote regions.

To clean bag; hang in direct sunlight for a couple of hours and then shake out.
