Serah is an artisan weaver based in Goroka. She created this Bilum design by hand over six weeks. Serah is part of the Goroka collective of weavers led by Florence or Bilum Meri, who is aggregator and brand cultural advisor. Florence has been vital to the success of Among Equals since its founding and is fiercely passionate about building a platform for the weavers. "I am strong for the weavers, I see them as sisters. These women now have the strength to stand up and be their own trader. It is a business for them, too, and that is very empowering."

To clean your Bilum bag, remove pom pom and tassel and wash on a delicate cycle in cold water. Dry flat in the shade, do not wring or twist.
