  • The Raun Raun design follows the path the women walked each afternoon, searching the bushland for food and water to bring home to their families. Every piece reflects the strength, creativity and connection of the women who wove it.
  • As each clutch is handwoven, pattern placement may vary slightly piece to piece. 
  • This Bilum is handwoven from wool and acrylic yarn using traditional weaving techniques.
  • This clutch is lined and features a frame closure and internal pocket.

This Bilum was lovingly woven by Barbara. Barbara lives with her husband Michael in Mount Hagen in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea. She is a wonderful ambassador and aggregator of Among Equals and also a much-loved group leader and dedicated program coordinator at House Of Hope, a refuge she established for women requiring healthcare. Barbara takes these women in with tremendous compassion, warmth and kindness.
