  • New Mountain Design is a design inspired by the Mountain design, featuring elegant, extended steps that resemble climbing pathways. This unique creation was brought to life by a young mother named Zominame, who is originally from the village of Gepahina in Kama, Goroka.
  • This Bilum is handwoven from acrylic and wool yarn as well as up-cycled knitwear using traditional weaving techniques.
  • Medium size body and long strap length.

This Bilum was lovingly woven by Tama Jackson. Tama lives with her husband and son in Fanuifa, a small village in Goroka. Tama uses the income she earns from Bilum to support her family and provide schooling for her son. Her signature pattern is the Kundu design woven in vibrant hues.
