Artisan weaver Aloma Joel, 29, lives with her husband and three children in Fanuifa, a small village in Goroka. Aloma uses the income she earns from bilum to support her family and provide schooling for her children. Aloma’s signature pattern is the Kundu design, a tribute to her mother who taught her the art of weaving.
